A short documentary about the extensive art theft that has taken place in North Cyprus since the 1974 Turkish invasion. The theft has taken place with tacit or active approval from the Turkish army.
The plunder not only served as a source of income for criminals in North Cyprus and shady antiquity dealers, it was also an act to eradicate the memory of Cyprus as a Christian country for almost two millenia.
What has happened in the Turkish occupied zone constitutes pillaging of world cultural heritage and is a war crime according to several international conventions.

No Factual evidence? are you saying that there were no Turks in Cyprus before 1974? Or are you saying Greeks did not try oust all Turks in 1974? Still, if it was upto you, if they were little stronger, they’d try again.
6:09 in 1974 there were 116.000 Turks in the Island. But today only 85.000 can be regarded as Turkish Cypriots. LOL so the population decreased, although the high birth rate among turks? Or is it that the missing 30.000 were killed by the greek army before the turkish army came to save turkish civilians? What a useless propaganda movie.
Turks =/ Turkish Cypriots. The population didnt decrease, its just that there are turkish settlers brought in from turkey tp change the social landscape from greek cypriot/turkish cypriot to greek/turkish. Also it would be impossible for the greek army to kill turkish civilians because the cypriot/greek “army” was nothing more than a guerilla force that couldnt even take back the rest of the island much less kill all the civilians.
Pillaging of world cultural heritage? Turks have been living in Cyprus earlier than 1974 and only reason island is divided is the greeks tried to kill all Turks in the island.
