On August 2nd while addressing a group of Iranians living abroad, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad claimed that “Israel has hired people to assassinate him.” In the speech Ahmadinejad stated, “The Zionists have sent people to assassinate me. Look how hopeless they are. They have assassinated so many Iranians.” The statement was given during the same speech in which Ahmadinejad challenged the current U.S. President (Barack Obama) to face him in a live televised political debate.
The comment came before the reported “firecracker explosion” which interrupted his motorcade on August 3rd. He also stated that Israel and the United States want to dominate the entire Middle East. Tensions have risen between Israel and Iran since Ahmadinejad publicly denied the holocaust, claiming it was highly exaggerated by Zionists. He claims Zionist are not Jewish and have no religion. Iran’s foreign minister recently warned Israel and its allies against waging war in the Middle East as well, saying any possible war in the region will not be “limited.” Manouchehr Mottaki told the Iranian Arabic language satellite channel Al-Alam late Sunday that certain moves and threats by the Zionist regime against Lebanon and Syria indicate Tel Aviv intends to launch a war in the region. “If Israel and its supporters wage such a war, they will have made a big mistake,” the Iranian diplomat added.
He further said Iran stands by Syria and other regional nations, and is ready to defend itself against any “warmongering nation.” Is a war between Israel and Iran eminent?

When i see Iran mentioned i automatically assume the rest of the jumble of words is simply the product of a fevered imagination.
It becomes very easy to sort fact from fiction.
Mahmoud is one of the few who is in power who has the bollocks to denouce the rouge Country of Israel. I’d personally love to see a war involving the Israel and its Allies. Wiping Israel off the map and reducing the United States to poverty is what is needed. Only then will the United States see its glory, when it is built upon for people who know what is truly right, America for Americans.
