On the subject of Les Bleus; the notion that one faction of the team doesn’t want to play with another only shines a light on a fact we have known since 1998 which is: The French really aren’t that good. They won that Cup (on the back of an African; Thuram), but that was the height of their dominance. They have not lived up to that performance since. Do I believe that there is racial tension amidst the team; yes, just like there is racial tension in the U.S., Israel, even in the host country of the tournament. And before you say this situation is not the same as racism in the U.S. think about this: alot of the Dodgers, if not all, didn’t want to play with Jackie Robinson. Now there might a 60-year gap between these situations, but that is exactly my point. In time this tension will pass. Next year, there will be enough unity on the team that they will be ready just in time to cheat their way into Euro2012 and sorry enough to get bounced from that tourney.

Sport is a sport eventually. It does not matter what race you are, you choose to come here (world cup) to represent your country, then you have to play at your best.
Fifa has a problem one must see. Fifa has been setting up goals, or teams to enter next game, or winning the final. That is really defeat the purpose of SPORT. I am very disappoint with Fifa, but not with any teams.
