Greek special forces chanted harsh anti-Turkish-Albanian slogans during an official military parade in Athens, reports said.
According to reports, “racist and Nazi” slogans were chanted against Muslims of Greece: Macedonians, Turks and Albanians at the military parade of the Greek Armed Forces held in Athens on Independence Day.
While the soldiers were marching they chanted: “They are Skopians, they are Albanians, we will make new clothes out of their skins”, Greek daily newspaper Eleftherotypia reports. “We will slaughter them until they worship the cross”, was one of the slogans.
In a commentary the daily stresses that such slogans were not shouted by members of “Golden Dawn”, but rather members of the army’s special diving forces.
“Why all the hate?”, the Greek newspaper asks and expressed astonishment of the Greek army violating the law of discrimination. “Are we living in 2010 with a socialist government? or in the past of military dictatorship?” Eleftherotypia asked.
However, Greek media said, The Civil Protection Ministry suspended the coast guard officer in charge of the parade unit and pledged tough action against unidentified members accused of shouting “racist” slogans against Muslims during the Independence Day parade. The ministry “strongly condemned the incident”.
Meanwhile, Albanians organized a demonstration of protest in front of the Greek embassy.

Isn’t it because they have some historical backround with Albania, Skopja, and Turkey? Of how they repeatedly tried to annex the Greek Macedonia for its economic purposes? As you know, the region of the Greek Macedonia has access to the Aegean sea, which provides very beneficial results to those who control it. Even before Greek indepedence, major European powers, such as England, France, and Russia had the aspirations to control Greece because it happens to be an intersection that unites Europe, Asia, and Africa. For the Skopjians to use “Macedonia” as the official country name may be used as a political tool in order to seize territory. For example, lets say that immigrationfrom Skopja heads into the region of the Greek Macedonian, those immigrants may say one day: “hey, our human rights are not respected, or we do not have any kinds of political rights to exercise”. Thus, Skopja, may use it as an excuse of agrression towards Greece in order to control territory. Now, many of you may say that my reasoning may be absurd. On the contrary, lets take an example of Nazi Germany in the 1930’s under Hitler. Hitler accussed Chechoslovakia that they once violated human rights, and mistreated the ethnic German minority that were living in Chechoslovakia of the region of Suttenland(I may have mispelled). Thus, Germany, Britain, England, and Russia signed the “munich agreement” in the 1930’s, which allowed Germany to enter into its neighboring country to protect its German minority. However, what really happened? They conquered the entire nation under German control. now, if you think this analogy is not enough, lets look of how Turkey used the excuse of its Turkish diaspora in Cyprus. The Turkish goverment claimed that Greece was treating harshly their diaspora in Cyprus. thus, Turkey had the moral responsibility to invade Cyprus in order to protect them. Lets say that the Greek goverment violated minority rights. If they did so, why not also invade Thrace, a region that is next of the Greek Macedonia, since it has more in numbers of Turkish minority there compare with Cyprus. Allow me to explain, if Turkey went to Thace instead of Cyprus, it would not give them the strategic/economic control as it would give the ones from Cyprus. Finally, for your information, human rights are used as a politcal tool in order to exercise not olny pressure on a country, but also an excuse for “legitimate invasion”. my friend Peter, since you’re also an American, i would advise you to read the “minority Rights Revolution” by John D Skrutny that discuss about the US MRR. To say something briefly about it, rights were not granted because they recognized minorities as decent human beings, but because it damaged national secutiry and international relations. They took the reforms in order to persuade foreign 3rd world countries of alligning with them, instead of the USSR.
