The Department of Homeland Security has now confirmed something we have all known for some time: the true enemy of the United States government is the American people.
The Washington Times reports: “The Department of Homeland Security is warning law enforcement officials about a rise in rightwing extremist activity… (This would include any) groups that reject federal authority in favor of state or local authority.”
This would easily include such radicals as George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin.
The Times notes ” ‘It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single-issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration,’ the warning says.”
That would add maybe 200 million Americans, including most devout Christians.
The Times goes on: “The nine-page document was sent to police and sheriff’s departments across the United States on April 7 under the headline, ‘Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment.’ It says the federal government will be working with its state and local partners over the next several months to gather information on rightwing extremist activity in the United States.”
So we can expect increased surveillance, warrantless wiretaps, and harassing visits from the Secret Service including various agent provocateurs who show up suddenly and begin talking about various illegal things like machine guns in the hope someone is stupid enough to let them blabber. Failing to shut up some loonie who starts talking about illegal guns and violent plots can quickly lead to a felony “conspiracy” charge. It used to be called entrapment, but that doesn’t seem to matter much anymore.
The Times continues: “The joint federal-state activities will have a particular emphasis on the causes of rightwing extremist radicalization… The report, which was first disclosed to the public by nationally syndicated radio host Roger Hedgecock, makes clear that the Homeland Security Department does not have specific information that domestic rightwing terrorists are currently planning acts of violence. It warns that fringe organizations are gaining recruits, but it provides no numbers.”
I guess they’re worried about the Obama Depression driving people out of the two-party system. If the Feds want people to be less upset maybe they could throw the 20 millions illegals out of the country and give their jobs to out of work Americans. Oh, but I forget, the federal government is too busy watching us “right-wing extremists” to do that.
The Obama regime is simply confirming what we already knew would happen, that once the Magic Negro got into office, all that un-Constitutional and tyrannical “security” law and bureaucracy that Bush installed will be turned against ordinary Americans –as many of us have been predicting for years.
The Depression will definitely turn many Americans against the two-party system. Let’s just hope enough people wake up so that we can build a third party, start winning elections and dismantle things like Homeland Security before someone like Obama tries to use them to set up a police state.
