Romanian National Vanguard: Hello, thank you for accepting this interview and I hope you will enjoy it as much as me.
Iron Youth: Hail Victory! Comrade. We never turn down a fellow brother who asks for an interview with IRON YOUTH. It is the first time we give an interview to a Romanian person.
RNV: I’m honored to be your first, could you please introduce yourself to our public?
Iron Youth: I am Kostas (Konstantinos), a 40 years old veteran National Socialist who lives in Athens and my job is a “white collar” one.
RNV: Why did you started this band?
Iron Youth: Well, there were no Hellenic NS / WP bands in our country, so we decided to start IRON YOUTH back in the Fall of 1997. The rest is history… Today there is a small WP / NS music scene in Hellas, ‘though I can not say that it is very “united”.
RNV: Who is the author of your lyrics?
Iron Youth: It is mainly me and George “Qualiaron” in our latest CD “Faith is Stronger than Fire”. In our previous one, “Respect / Defend / Create” it was me, George “Qualiaron” and John “Totenengel” (who is no more a member of the band).
RNV: So far, have you made any concerts?
Iron Youth: No, we have never played live and we will never will, I think. IRON YOUTH was no “concert band” from the beginning. We are a studio project, you could say.
RNV: Will you ever come and make a concert in Romania? I‘m sure if you hire people to stick your posters on the walls many Romanians will come to your concert.
Iron Youth: I do not think that something like that will ever happen, unfortunately.
RNV: When will you release a new album?
Iron Youth: Well, the band is currently inactive due to other obligations. We do not have any particular plan for a new album in the near future.
RNV: What is your position about the Romanian National Vanguard?
Iron Youth: We do not know anything about your Organization. We only have heard about another Romanian nationalist organization, “Nuova Dreapta” (?) is their name, I think.
RNV: I hope we have established a friendship and I hope we will do this more in the future. Our fans would be happy to hear more about your band and to read interviews with you. Could you give a message to our fans?
Iron Youth: Our comradely greetings to all the fellow Romanian Nationalist Activists. We need Soldiers to the Movement, not drunkard, gang-mentality “warriors”. Down with chauvinism!
RNV: You have achieved much and there are many people who know about you today. We wish you success, thank you again, goodbye.
Iron Youth: Goodbye comrade and thank you for your interest in our band. If someone would like to visit our web-page, here is the address: http//: listen.to/IronYouth
88!
To the one called “Hellenian” and the same time beeing a christian obviosly not knowing the history of the hellenic people, the fatherland and what hellenic and Hellas mean! Hey! You can be christian and following this jewish religion if you want, cause that is what its origins is! But here i read you call pagans and other “ancient worshippers” Eosforists and satanists and so on as “pseudo nationalists”?! And this is written by a a guy who is a slave to to a jewish religion!!!?
“Such neo-pagan sentiments are shared by no more than approximately 1,000 individuals in all Greece, most of whom are disillusioned leftists who have turned to New Age spirituality. Genuine nationalists recognize that our ancestors gave up their dark pagan religion — a religion that persecuted philosophers and scientists and saw Socrates put to death — for the One True Faith of Orthodoxy and that, as a result of the fusion of Hellenism and Christianity, we saw our greatest epoch: that of the Eastern Roman Empire (i.e. the so-called “Byzantine Empire”). There are many nationalists in Greece, of various political ideologies, and it is to these that you should turn to — not to confused, hate-filled pseudo-nationalists like those of Iron Youth.”
This most the most disgusting, lying text i read today! Our ancient philosophers have nothing to do with the jewish stories(see christianity), wich after the infilitrated to many greeks, they also ruined statues and monuments in Greece. Hellenism and christianity does not go together! Scientific and philosophical matter does either. The christians bibels were beeing influenced by our great Philosophers as Platon and many more, when the wrote their jewish influenced religion. Jews-christianity and islam is fro mthe same root. They all has roots of the jews…
Get yourself together, YOU are not just a christian who has respect for the themes and wisdom and knowing of our ancient forefathers, but yo uare a dis-respective CHRISTIAN(domt know the word i english exactly) but a “christian obsessed-over religious” AND that is were your knowledge stops as your own development as a human beeing!
You are offended by Our ancient philosophers, believers, and gods?!(are you even a greek man?) you obsessed christian uneducated wormin.
I dont talk about good christians wich respects other peoples believes and religions wich is in our blood and mind – while christianity is like a slavery to icons and jesus! With all my respect to the romanian vanguard. I also think your comments to this “hellenian” is right. EXCEPT you were wrong when writing to try to
These individuals, as demonstrated by their own words, are clearly not atheists but neo-pagans. They are, for the reasons cited above, also pseudo-nationalists. By giving this group media attention, you lend them the air of legitimacy when they possess none. Furthermore, you alienate your Greek readers who are offended by Iron Youth’s traitorous views.
Orthodoxy is the One True Faith and needs no modifications, as anyone with a genuine understanding of Orthodoxy would recognize. It’s one thing to make racialism a part of your organization’s political doctrine but quite another to modify Orthodoxy and create your own “holy book”. Any organization that would even entertain such views has naturally lost all credibility as a movement.
The notion that most “normal Christians” would mix with other races is absurd. There is not a single Eastern Orthodox country that has problems with miscegenation. Most religious people are generally conservative and against people marrying outside of their ethnic group, let alone other races. The only people who have problems with race-mixing are Westerners. However, Westerners are generally irreligious and atheistic and those who are religious are not Orthodox. Orthodox ecclesiology makes it clear that Orthodoxy is exclusively the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church. Those of other religions who call themselves “Christians” (i.e. the heterodox) are not genuine Christians because their teachings and beliefs are distorted. So you should not base your conclusions on the actions of Western “Christians” since they are not representative of Christianity.
Given Romania’s great history, I also fail to understand why so-called “white nationalism” (in citation marks because the term is an oxymoron) is stressed. Not only is it irrelevant since Romanians are not in danger of mixing with other races but it also de-emphasizes Romanian ethnic nationalism and national identity by emphasizing a (non-existent) “pan-Aryan” bond and an artificial white identity. Instead, I believe it is better for Romanians to seek bonds with Eastern Orthodox radical nationalists.
Yeah, I agree with you, I also know that the EU Times is 100% Christian-Conservative but we don’t have a problem with white nationalists who are atheist. Why? Because we believe we can change them in time and besides Christianity doesn’t have a specific view towards race, so we believe that we should make our own Holy book. A mixture with parts from the Bible and our personal ideology that places the race as the most important factor in a society. Most “normal Christians” (white people, especially women because they are weak minded) would mix with non-whites so that’s why we need a new type of Christianity (where race is important) but still Christianity! We should call it “Christian-Conservative”.
As I understand it, the EU Times is a Christian organization. As such, it may interest you to know that Iron Youth (a band that is unknown to all but a minority of nationalists, by the way) is an anti-Christian, neo-pagan band and, consequently, in no way representative of Hellenic nationalism. Their very website makes no secret of their absurd beliefs and open hatred for the most nationalistic institution in Greece (i.e. the Orthodox Church), and the one responsible for protecting the Greek national identity during Turkish occupation:
“[Interviewer] What’s your opinion for our Ancestral Hellenic Gods? Do you believe in Them? The relation between Nationalism-Paganism?
“[Iron Youth] This is a too serious question to be answered in a few lines. Being totally against the Jew-Christian thought we respect and follow our Ancestral Religion seeking at the same time, as searchers, the Truth, away from stupid extremist sub-humans that wear clokes and Rolex watches at the same time.” (Source: http://www.ethniko.net/ironyouth/iy_intie1.htm)
