Current president of Romania, Traian Basescu is under pressure by the government. He lost almost all his support and it is possible that he will be removed because he “seriously broke the law many times”. The accusation being brought is that “he does not respect the Romanian constitution”. This scandal is affecting Romania’s image even more. The president’s suspending is requested by 182 politicians who are members of the PSD (Social Democratic Party) and PRM (Greater Romania Party). PSD party is the gypsy’s party while PRM is the nationalist’s party. Strange alliance isn’t it? PSD always backed PRM and vice versa that’s because both parties have communist backgrounds. The conflict between the president and most political parties has started long ago when Traian Basescu officially accused communism and it’s crimes. He called for the judging of all communists who committed crimes against the Romanian people even though Traian Basescu was a communist himself. The president also called all parties “corrupted”.
