At 1:26 she said the second EQ was larger than the first, and there was no epicenter. As a Geologist, though not a Seismologist (specializes in EQs), a second EQ being stronger than the first is RARE – it is almost always the opposite, because the first one usually releases so much of the built up energy that not much remains. At 6:40 she said that there was no epicenter, but a “line with thousands of EQs”. This is NOT how EQs occur, even along long fault lines or tectonic plate boundaries. A first, almost always main (strongest), EQ occurs at a specific place and depth (the epicenter, a 3D point in the subsurface) along a fault or plate boundary. Again, this first EQ dissipates so much of the pent up energy through, often with movement of rocks and soils, that any subsequent EQs are almost always of lesser magnitude. I have NEVER heard of a “line of thousands of EQs” occurring. NEVER.
