Israeli officials are reportedly engaged in covert discussions with the Democratic Republic of Congo and other African nations regarding the resettlement of thousands of Palestinian migrants from Gaza.
The plan for the “voluntary” relocation of individuals from the besieged Palestinian enclave to the central African country is gradually emerging as a key policy of Benjamin Netanyahu’s coalition, according to an unnamed senior government source.
Talks have allegedly taken place with various African nations to explore their willingness to accept migrants from Gaza. The Democratic Republic of Congo is among the countries under consideration, despite facing challenges such as high levels of poverty, inequality, regional conflict, and insecurity. A World Food Program report indicates that approximately 52.5% of the country’s 5.5 million population lives below the poverty line.
The United States has rejected Israeli officials’ statements on the proposed resettlement plan, calling them “irresponsible.” State Department spokesman Matthew Miller stated that the rhetoric from Israeli ministers Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben Gvir is inflammatory and irresponsible.
Smotrich, however, dismissed Washington’s objection, asserting that around 70% of Israelis support the proposal due to concerns about the security of the State of Israel. Israel’s intelligence minister, Gila Gamliel, emphasized the necessity of the plan for postwar conditions in Gaza.
She predicted the collapse of Hamas rule after the conflict, leading to a lack of municipal authorities and increased dependence on humanitarian aid for the civilian population. Additionally, Gamliel anticipated the conversion of 60% of Gaza’s agricultural land into security buffer zones.
Israel has conducted sustained air and ground attacks on Gaza since the October 7 cross-border assault by Hamas, resulting in thousands of Palestinian casualties and over a thousand Israeli deaths.

Even if the Palestinians move to the Congo, its just a matter of time until the Jews have taken control of all of North Africa and start moving south. Then the Palestinians will be dealing with the same problem again.
They’d be better off in the Congo than living next door to a society of psychopaths. The Palestinians staying in Gaza is about like a family with children living next door to some people who have lions and tigers and poisonous snakes as pets
Relocating the Jews of the world to Madagascar is also a pretty good idea. If there is a downside it might not be fair to the natives.
What a monstrous idea! Israel exists only due to outside assistance. Palestinians only need to be free, on their own land, to thrive. Israel is a curse on humanity and must end.
