U.S. President Joe Biden has issued a stark warning, declaring that the conflict in Ukraine poses a severe threat to NATO security and emphasizing the potential for Washington to become directly involved. In a statement released on Friday, Biden condemned Russia’s recent missile barrage on Ukraine, denouncing it as a “brutal attack” and accusing Moscow of seeking to “obliterate Ukraine and subjugate its people.” The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed conducting 50 “group” strikes and a single “massive” barrage, targeting military infrastructure and troop positions.
Biden underscored that the ramifications of this conflict extend well beyond Ukraine, directly impacting the security of both NATO and Europe. He expressed concern about the potential for dictators and autocrats to exert undue influence in Europe, emphasizing the risk of the United States being drawn into the conflict. According to Biden, the consequences of such a scenario would reverberate globally, necessitating a comprehensive response.
Asserting the imperative not to abandon Ukraine, Biden urged Congress to approve his supplemental funding request, which includes over $60 billion in support for the embattled country. However, he faced reluctance from Republicans in Congress, who have sought increased efforts to secure the southern U.S. border before greenlighting additional funding. The White House emphasized the urgency of congressional approval, warning that authorized funds for Ukraine would soon be depleted without it.
Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed Biden’s assertions that Moscow could target NATO, labeling them as “complete nonsense” earlier in the month. Putin suggested that Biden was aware of the implausibility of such claims but clung to this narrative to justify what he deemed “misguided” policies toward Russia. Russian officials have consistently raised concerns about NATO’s expansion, citing Ukraine’s aspirations to join the alliance as a key factor in their intervention in the conflict. Moscow has also accused Western countries of being “direct participants” in the conflict due to their arms shipments to Kiev.
Russia’s ambassador to Washington, Anatoly Antonov, responded to Biden’s recent comments by asserting that the U.S. reaction to the missile barrage demonstrated the effectiveness of the ongoing special military operation. Antonov characterized Biden’s statement as an admission that the U.S. and its allies are engaged in a “hybrid war against Russia,” attempting to defeat it on the battlefield and undermine its economy, a campaign he deemed futile.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!, Oh crap, Biden just opened his mouth and :poop: came out again, I guess forget that happy part in HAPPY NEW YEAR! :disappointed_relieved:
Biden is a ridiculous but dangerous lunatic. It seems that the two worst regimes on earth joined at the hip in crimes against humanity, the USA and “Israel” have reached the end of their respective rise in fortunes and have gone insane with irrational and unrealistic demands and actions. They’re both leaping into an abyss of suicidal madness. Threatening to destroy civilisation if they don’t get their way. Yet their way is utterly untenable, unnacceptable for the rest of humanity, and frankly makes it worth the risk to see them ended in power and influence. I’m nearing the end of my ‘sentence’ on this muddy rock in space and am watching with fascination how it goes. I am concerned with the future for the last few generations. It promises to be a very bumpy road for a while.
Either the forces that prowl unleashed on our planet will be defeated and fade away, and eventually a better world may emerge. Or else, these wicked anti-human, and Godless forces will drag the entire human species into oblivion after themselves. At this stage there’s nothing to be done but let matters play out between those with their blood drenched hands on the controls and hope for the best. I’m far from sure the powers that will in the best circumstances arise in the stead of the Empire of Lies are going to be much better or even better in the long run anyway. I guess this is why humanity has been here so long and evidently never gotten past short hops into space. Maybe for the rest of galactic life, it is for the best. If what I’ve seen of humans in my time is what we are. The significant evidence of past forgotten civilisations which reached similar levels of technological and scientific advancement as we have, makes more and more sense. There are fatal flaws in the character of these evolved primates.
Someone in the CIA and Pentagon should bring the President up to speed on what Russia can do to America.
