In a new ruling, the Supreme Court in the United States states that businesses may, for religious reasons, have the right to refuse to perform services for so-called LGBTQ people. This is reported by Axios.
A previously high-profile case from 2018 involved a Christian baker in California who refused to bake a cake for a gay “wedding”.
Homosexual activists have since continued to try to provoke similar judgments against Christian businessmen.
The current case involves Lorie Smith, a web designer from Colorado who offers wedding sites, but not for gays.
The Supreme Court, which today has a conservative majority, now rules Smith. According to the court, the constitutional freedom of religion gives her the right to refuse to design gay sites.
The ruling comes after the American High Court ruled that universities may not apply racial quotas in their admissions processes, something that created great left-wing anger.
