He has put the desire to own a dangerous dog over public safety and I can’t forgive that. This is political correctness run amuck, claiming dog breeds are being subjected to unfair discrimination. There is ample evidence supporting the breeds capacity and likelihood of killing and maiming. I live in fear of these dogs every time I walk my small dog in our complex. In a civil society, this is 100% unacceptable. I can only think the Governor decided that the votes of pit bull owners and proponents was more important that the lives of the people. This is reprehensible. He should never have signed this bill!
