Today it is five years since the climate prophet Greta Thunberg published a post on Twitter that humanity would be wiped out if we did not stop using fossil fuels within five years.

“A senior climate scientist warns that climate change will wipe out all of humanity if we don’t stop using fossil fuels in the next five years,” Greta’s post from June 21, 2018 read.

In the tweet, she linked to an article on the website Gritpost, which has now been shut down.

Greta has subsequently deleted the post, which, however, is still saved on Archive.org. American profiler Jack Posobiec recently asked Greta why she deleted the tweet. His question received millions of views on the platform, but no answer came from the Swedish climate prophet.

In recent weeks, Greta’s posts have received new attention and users on social media have counted down to the day of judgment, which thus seems to be waiting for them.
