An ex-teacher, 27, is accused of child rape, sexual assault, child pornography, and violence. Despite seeking therapy for pedophilia, he kept his job as a teacher.
The individual has experience working at a Bors elementary and middle school.
15 pupils who often interacted with the teacher were the victims of crimes that were perpetrated over a period of years.
There are about 30 accusations total in the indictment.
The police have spoken to the parents of the at-risk kids, the teachers, and other concerned parties over 80 times.
In a news statement, chamber prosecutor Andreas Lennartsson, who is in charge of the preliminary inquiry, notes that this is a particularly complicated case in which the investigation has been ongoing for more than a year and has expanded as new material has come to light.
The investigation has been ongoing for more than a year, and it has gotten more extensive as more data has come in. In addition to the oral testimony, the evidence consists of a number of seized phones, specific photographic data recovered from mobile devices, selected SMS conversation snippets, and diary entries.
The suspect has already admitted a number of things. Since the summer of 2022, he has been detained, and since the summer of 2021, he has been suspended from school.
Already in 2018, he asked for assistance, went to treatment, and was given medicine. But clearly it hasn’t made a difference. According to the guy’s defense attorney, Lars Almlöf, speaking to SVT Nyheter Väst, the man has admitted to a case of rape and severe sexual assault.
This indicates that the man remained to have a teaching position after getting pedophilia therapy.
