Thousands of parents who feel their children were forced to use irreversible puberty blockers are suing a disputed gender identity clinic, only weeks after the NHS shut it down after a damning report.
Are you a youngster in need of medications to prevent puberty because you are experiencing gender dysphoria? Well, the majority of young children require them, according to the Tavistock Gender Identity Clinic in London. And from 1983 until this past month, they were unchallenged in their operations. As inquiries deepen and public anger over claims that Tavistock was haphazardly identifying kids with gender identity disorder even when they were healthy develops, the clinic was recently closed by the NHS.
Given the widespread promotion of transsexuality by the corporate media, liberal parents, public school teachers, and many western governments, it is understandable why so many young people feel pressure to follow the crowd and flaunt their virtue. The majority of kids generally want to please the adults in their lives, and there is a lot of pressure for them to follow gender identification trends.
The number of children treated at Tavistock, the only gender and sex transition clinic in Britain, increased from roughly 130 in 2010 to approximately 2400 in 2021. By the time it was finally closed, the clinic was actually struggling to keep up with the demand for its services, and many supporters of sex change therapy for youngsters suggested that MORE centers like Tavistock would soon be required.
In the last ten years, what has changed? not the percentage of persons who are born with gender dysphoria; it cannot be determined statistically. The only thing that has changed is that young people are now being targeted by trans propaganda and trans identity politics are now a craze.
When Keira Bell, a former patient, sued the clinic in 2020, saying she was too young to give her permission to the medical therapy approved by the GIDS that started her gender transition as a teenager, the controversy surrounding Tavistock grew more serious.
It is up to the same doctors who are politically motivated and stand to profit financially by duping children and teenagers into believing they are trans. In the United Kingdom, despite having no scientific proof to support their claims regarding gender identity, these practitioners are the ones who get to decide if your child needs gender affirming drugs or surgeries.
The demise of Tavistock validates popular concerns that gender ideology is deceptive and that children without a clear understanding of sexuality have been chemically and physically wounded for political cultism rather than individual wellness. It was recently revealed that the clinic is also facing a major lawsuit from at least 1000 former patients’ families, with the number climbing by the day.
