Two Pakistani men were arrested under suspicion of raping a British teenager on] a beach in Greece last month, according to reports.
The horrifying incident unfolded on the morning of July 21 in Rethymno, a city on the island of Crete.
An 18-year-old girl was assaulted by two men who “immobilized her and raped her” on a sun bed on the beach, Neakriti reported.
The victim immediately reported the attack to local police.
“She complained that she was having fun with two of her friends in a shop and had consumed a large quantity of alcohol, when – as she said in her complaint – she was taken advantage of by two young men who lured her to the beach and raped her,” Apokoronas Life reported.
Two men were later arrested amid an ensuing investigation.
They were identified as citizens of Pakistan, aged 23 and 26.
