On the night of Thursday to Friday, a 32-year-old woman was reportedly raped in the middle of the street after being drugged in Paris’s 19th arrondissement. Two homeless Africans were apprehended and detained by police.
This Thursday evening, about 11:20 p.m., two individuals were caught by police on the Quai de la Loire in Paris (19th century), near the Place de la Bataille-de-Stalingrad. The latter are suspected of raping a 32-year-old lady in the middle of the street only moments before.
According to the initial components and the victim’s narrative, the latter was approached by these two homeless males. “They provided him a bottle to drink from, promising him there was no alcohol in it,” a person close to the probe claimed. The thirties were accepted, but it was later discovered in a “second stage, of bliss.” This is when she was reportedly raped by these two males, who took advantage of her vulnerability.
Witnesses call the cops
Two witnesses who witnessed the two assailants examining the victim’s possessions raised the alarm. The district police arrived immediately. When questioned, the 30-year-old stated that she had been raped by two people.
The two males who were close were swiftly apprehended when the police were given a description of the two suspects. The latter would be born in Algeria and would be between the ages of 20 and 26. The bottle of orange juice was discovered and seized. It will be examined to see what it contains.
The sufferer was sent to the Lariboisière hospital (Xe) for examinations. If she was drugged, a toxicological analysis will be performed. An inquiry has begun.
Rapes that keep happening
An 18-year-old lady was reportedly raped while leaving a pub on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday in the 13th arrondissement. Soon after, officials from the anti-crime brigade (BAC) apprehended the 49-year-old accused culprit. He was placed under arrest.
In the capital at the beginning of August, an American tourist was also raped in a public bathroom in the 4th arrondissement. In the case, a 23-year-old suspect has been charged and held in jail.
