A 19-year-old student, Volodymyr Salo, died in the Kyiv region a few hours after being vaccinated against the coronavirus. The cause of death was previously heart problems. The native of Lviv region was vaccinated with Pfizer, but preferred not to inform his parents about his decision.
6 hours between vaccination and death
The death of Volodymyr Sal became widely known only on September 20. On that day, the Ministry of Health issued a statement stating that he had been vaccinated with Comirnaty / Pfizer-BioNTech at 3:05 p.m.
” Five more people have been vaccinated from the same bottle, and they are all feeling well,” the statement said.
The Ministry of Health also claims that within 30 minutes of medical supervision after vaccination, the boy had no complaints about his health.
The Bucha Center for Primary Health Care stated that Volodymyr Salo had come to be vaccinated with his friends and that there were no contraindications for vaccination at the time of vaccination.
A statement from the Ukrainian Humanities Institute said that Volodymyr Salo was vaccinated at 2:30 p.m.
However, according to the school, “later” he had a fever, convulsions began at 20:15, and pulse and respiration disappeared at 20:35.

Rector of the Ukrainian Humanitarian Institute Lyudmyla Shtanko, who together with a paramedic helped Volodymyr Sal before the ambulance arrived, told TSN that his condition had deteriorated instantly.
” What surprises us in general is that the reaction was so instantaneous. His condition when I came in was horrible: his face was almost blue, he was suffering from convulsions, foaming at the mouth, vomiting. It’s just awful and it’s for 15 minutes and that’s it. Somewhere at 20:20 we found him in this state and at 20:35 the pulse disappeared and his breathing disappeared. At the same time, we called an ambulance, “she said.
According to the Ministry of Health, the previous cause of death was cardiopulmonary insufficiency, pulmonary edema, acute coronary insufficiency. The Ministry of Health also stressed that in this case there are grounds for mandatory additional research, and that they have already taken material for histological and toxicological examinations.
The final cause of Volodymyr Sal’s death should be determined within a month or so.
The TSN story said that death on the day of vaccination should have been reported urgently, but the Ministry of Health received information about Sala’s death ” only today”, ie September 20 ( the day of the story – ed.).
It is also reported that the Kyiv Region Police opened a criminal investigation into the student’s death. There is no information about this on the police website.
He was a donor and helped the poor

Volodymyr was also a donor, literally three days before his death he donated blood for those in need.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time in Ukraine that a person has died after being vaccinated with Pfizer. In early July, a 47-year-old man who had been vaccinated a few hours before the tragedy died in Vinnytsia Oblast. He also had heart problems, doctors said. And the American manufacturer of the vaccine said that there is no connection between vaccinations and fatalities.
