Do you know if garlic is effective against colds and flus? How about bacteria? I’ve had stomach pain for the last two weeks, and occasional diarrhea. Not sure what is causing it.

It is highly unlikely that garlic as a natural antibiotic will destroy the good bacteria in our gut, unlike chemical antibiotics which will almost certainly destroy the good bacteria in our gut. I take a lot of garlic tablets (soya oil based) with no detrimental effects and I eat a mostly vegetarian diet high in complex carbohydrates and low in animal protein ( a small amount of cheese and fish) and I have only had one bout of flu in fifty years.
