Teenage Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg has threatened to quit Facebook if the social media platform refuses to censor her critics.
“I am, like many others, questioning whether I should keep using Facebook or not,” Thunberg wrote in a Facebook post last week. “Allowing hate speech, the lack of fact-checking and, of course, the issues of interfering with democracy… are among many, many other things that are very upsetting.”
“The constant lies and conspiracy theories about me and countless others, of course, result in hate, death threats and ultimately violence. This could easily be stopped if Facebook wanted to. I find the lack of taking responsibility very disturbing,” she added.
The “Youth Climate Strike” founder has enjoyed unprecedented stardom for her climate activism, being described as a “successor of Christ” by a Swedish church and winning praise from such leftist heavyweights as Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Elon Musk.
Breitbart report: Musk said last month that Thunberg has “better reasoning & more heart than the vast majority of political leaders,” whereas Hillary called her a “gutsy woman” and former president Obama praised the 16-year-old as “one of our planet’s greatest advocates.”
Yet Ms. Thunberg is finding criticism enervating, suggesting that those who oppose her crusade are “interfering with democracy” and should be censored by Facebook.
The climate icon urged her fans to “challenge” Facebook to silence her antagonists, insisting that “if enough of us demand change — then change will come.”
Thunberg’s social media issues do not end with Facebook, however, and she has similarly complained that Twitter has not done a good job protecting her, either.
“It has come to my attention that a few people have been trying to impersonate me or falsely claim that they ‘represent’ me in order to communicate with political leaders, famous actors, singers and musicians,’” she said in an October 25 tweet.
“I apologize to anyone who’s been contacted — and maybe even misled by this kind of behavior. I hope that those who want to sincerely reach out to me will do so using the recognized channels,” she added.
The Swedish teen activist berated the United Nations General Assembly last month, scolding world leaders for having “stolen my dreams and my childhood.”
“This is all wrong,” Thunberg declared to the members. “I shouldn’t be up here. I should be back in school on the other side of the ocean, yet you all come to us young people for hope. How dare you?”
“People are suffering. People are dying. Entire ecosystems are collapsing,” she said. “We are in the beginning of a mass extinction and all you can talk about is money and fairy tales of eternal economic growth. How dare you?”

Dear Parents of Greta Thunberg,
Your daughter wants FACEBOOK to start censoring free speech worldwide. I know she is young and some adults or organizations might be misleading her in more ways than one. I’ll try to explain in a manner amenable to her level of comprehension: Every Human Being on this Earth and every American has the God-given inalienable freedom of expression “to rant and rave” about any thing — as long as they do not throw bombs that kill people or destroy property!
Criminal law is triggered by CRIMINAL ACTIONS and not by abstractions imagined or verbalized or expressed by the HUMAN MIND! Ideas are countered by ideas and not by criminal actions or criminal law — That’s our God-given inalienable constitutional First Amendment Bill of Rights and other Amendments in the Constitution of the United States of America. President Donald Trump and every other American has the freedom of expression, yes, to even call certain countries “SH*T-HOLE COUNTRIES! That’s America! Just like AIPAC or JADL can freely express themselves by calling some people “Nazis” or “Neo-Fascists!”
People have the right to believe, speak, advocate, and demonstrate for what they believe — in the same manner that your daughter and others have been freely doing. But, it appears, that you still don’t get it and I don’t understand your animosity towards the First Amendment — The law is triggered against CRIMINAL ACTIONS that are destructive of Human lives or property, i.e., KKK throwing a grenade at someone’s house and killing people inside the house; or someone perpetrating arson to burn someone else’s house to harm or kill them.
There is one thing you must understand about our system of free government: In America, the KKK, the Nazi Party, wild-animal rights advocates, sodomites, etc…, and or every other “vile advocacy group under the skies” do have “a right to exist” UNDER the Constitution of the United States of America and within the jurisdiction of the United States as they freely and voluntarily engage in expressing their God-given freedoms of thought, speech, press, expression, religion, peaceable assembly and right to petition government for a redress of grievances — as long as they don’t throw any explosives or don’t utilize any deadly fatal mortal weapons, e.g., dagger, cyanide-laced Acetaminophen purchased at a drug store, etc…, with which to kill people or destroy property; as long as they don’t physically attack or assault any HUMAN PERSONS, people, under the Constitution of the United States of America; nor any Person under the jurisdiction of the United States of America {(Please see the 14th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America, for: “The equal protection of the laws” that applies to both federal and State governments in our great nation.)}
So you want to censor people’s freedom of expression: Where would you begin and where would you stop? All of which would result only in fascism -— Hitler and Stalin and a host of other petty fascist terrorists “have beaten you to it.”
Again, these people or groups of people your daughter wishes FACEBOOK to silence or censor, under whatever label they choose to call themselves, have the God-given freedoms and inalienable rights to enjoy their FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION — For, criminal law, is triggered by criminal actions — and not by abstract thoughts, speech, beliefs,, creeds, or any other imagined abstract concept or principle that can NEVER be “criminal.”
I don’t know what you “free press pretenders” or “crypto-Zionists” don’t understand about the free principles of our form of free government; not only do they want to silence freedoms of thought and speech, — however expressed or in whatever media or activities of communication expressed, i.e., religion, politics, culture, economics, BDS, etc…— Please: Read Federalist Papers/Publius, by Madison, Hamilton and Jay (especially No. 48 and No. 51).
In short, mortal men and women of flesh-and-blood can NEVER be fully trusted with power — hence, why we have all “the necessity of auxiliary precautions” (James Madison, American Founding Father, Publius/Federalist Papers No. 51), in order to prevent the development and planting of fascist terrorism in our great nation;

This nation, the United States of America is UNDER GOD, and not under “Greta, you, or any other mortal flesh-and-blood Human; nor under any man-made organization or institution; nor under any mortal men or mortal women who are bound to die, pass away, and be buried six-feet under! For, only God, our loving Almighty Creator, the sole Author and Giver of our inalienable constitutional Bill of Rights is Eternal. Men and women are mortal and pass away; and most commonly, the things they’ve machinated also pass away with them, e.g., Hitler, Stalin, or any other petty fascist dictator want-to-be!
When are you going to understand this great country — AMERICA is a MIRACLE!
The law is triggered against CRIMINAL ACTIONS and not against thoughts, ideas, concepts, beliefs, creeds, or any other imagined abstractions from the Human Mind. Thoughts, ideas or speech are Human civil rights and freedoms given to ALL Humanity by our Creator, Almighty God, and do not come from men of mortal flesh-and-blood!
Therefore, thoughts or ideas or any other imagined abstraction from the Human Mind can never be “criminal,” as they exist only in the Human Mind or spoken as verbal speech or written, or expressed in any other form of freedom of expression covering “CONGRESS SHALL MAKE NO LAW….” Hence, neither FACEBOOK, nor any other organization, institution, or individual Human Being can “make laws” for the American people (or for people all over Planet Earth, for that matter) that disparage, abrogate, infringe upon our God-given “blessings of liberty” that have already, long ago, been secured for us, not only by our resurrected Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ who vanquished the wickedness of Satan by rising from the dead, but also that were preciously and solemnly won by our Founding Fathers, who, themselves wise and humble men, did not count themselves worthy to be a self-proclaimed king or emperor {(like Napoleon Bonaparte who put the crown on his own head as he declared himself “emperor for llife.)}
In fact, after winning the Revolutionary War against the British Crown in 1783, General George Washington took off his military uniform; surrendered his Officer Commission to the Continental Congress; and then, freely and voluntarily RETURNED TO HIS FARM and PLANTATION to HARVEST HIS CROPS! It was not until SIX YEARS LATER, in 1789, that, American civilian and citizen, George Washington, was duly, officially, freely, and constitutionally ELECTED, President of the United States of America, BY AMERICAN VOTERS!
What real actual crime have FACEBOOK bloggers committed for which you’d like them silenced or censored? Isn’t it for the same innocent reasons that the Israelites used to stone the Prophets whom God had sent to proclaim the coming of Messiah Jesus Christ? Weren’t they killed or stoned for simply speaking or writing? But, we are in the Year of our Lord, Two Thousand and Nineteen, and “we don’t do such lawless and fratricidal things” anymore!
FACEBOOK is an open forum and a public platform for airing, equally, all points of view, whether or not some readers might disagree with the message contained therein.
Please, understand this: Human Beings are neither gods nor angels; we are all MORTAL – (James Madison, Publius/Federalist Papers No. 51); and government must be obliged to control itself! —
But, by the grace of our Creator Almighty God, so too, each Human Being has the “free press liberty” and “the free mass media freedom” under the Constitution of the United States of America to speak, voice, say, verbalize, write or express, in whatever form of expression, whatever he or she “feels like” or whatever he or she “has in his or her Mind!”
Self-control and self-restraint are generated from the authors/writers/publishers/readers themselves, and CANNOT forcefully imposed from without! Consequently, we, the people, in the United States of America, hope you will ponder as you think, BEFORE you scream for censorship on FACEBOOK or any other mass media or press media of communication in order to silence viewpoints you dislike or don’t agree with!
