How to deal with Aliexpress and Ebay Chinese seller scams

Aliexpress has become one of the largest online shops in the world competing with the likes of Ebay and Amazon. On all platforms there are scammers but nowhere like on Aliexpress. After all its a Chinese-only platform and the Chinese people just love to scam Westerners one way or another. The following scams are common on ebay Chinese sellers too but this is more common on Aliexpress since on Aliexpress there’s only Chinese sellers and nothing else.

The most common scam is where you order a product and you receive a product of a different color or size or simply of very bad quality. Now Aliexpress says that it offers money-back guarantee for various reasons BUT, there’s a big BUT in there… you have to RETURN the product. So lets say you order a cheap $2-3 product and it arrives either damaged, not as described or simply not what you ordered.

samsung phone battery cover
Look I ordered a battery cover for this phone and received a wrong color. It should have been black yet it arrived white. You can see the original cover on the left and how the one on the right should have been like.

When you open a dispute make sure you LIE and do not say the exact reason why you are opening the dispute because Aliexpress will side with the sellers, after all its Chinese people protecting fellow Chinese people at the expense of some whatever stupid whites. After all that’s normal and definitely NOT condemnable! Wouldn’t you do the same?

Wouldn’t you side with a fellow white person instead of a Chinese? If you’re too altruistic to do that, then you are a retarded treasonous piece of sh!t who deserves to die. Siding with a foreigner over your own people is the dictionary definition of TREASON. Just look it up what treason is in a dictionary.

Anyway whatever, back to the point, so do not open a dispute saying that you received the wrong color or the product doesn’t fit, or its counterfeit or whatever. Aliexpress already knows all their products in there are counterfeit and they don’t give a rat’s ass about it.

samsung phone battery cover2
Well the color mismatch is not the only problem, take a look at the Samsung logo, it looks like crap with that logo color splashed allover the place! I do not need this garbage! This is not what I ordered, so I want a full refund! Why should I pay $15 to return a $2 product? On the other hand why should I leave it as is? These small orders accumulate, today $2, tomorrow $2 and I end up paying $100 in a month or more on junk! I cannot even resell this, who would buy this cover with that splashed text on it? Just look at it?!

The entire Chinese economy was built on replicating white man’s technology. They have iphone replicas, rolex watch replicas and so on. This is how China reached the point it is in now so don’t you even try telling them that you received a fake product.

Aliexpress just loves lies. They want you to LIE to them. When you receive such a bad product, open a dispute and claim that you DID NOT RECEIVE the product and choose “no tracking information”. Of course this is only in case the seller sent you an untracked parcel. This usually happens with cheaper products below $10.

More expensive products are usually tracked and in that case, you’re basically screwed. Why? Well Aliexpress will demand that you return the product. I do not know how the hell the Chinese can ship parcels everywhere in the world for what looks like FREE but we whites in the West, we don’t have such an option. I saw numerous products on Aliexpress costing $0.70 with free shipping. How much is shipping in China? $0.05 anywhere in the world or what???????

Remember that out of that price the seller not only has to pay shipping but it also has to pay commission fee to Aliexpress. So it looks like the Chinese government has facilitated the Chinese people with what looks like almost FREE SHIPPING anywhere in the world, or its so cheap its as if its free but you in the West on the other hand, have you ever taken a look at how much does it cost to send a tracked parcel to China? No matter the value or the weight you won’t get prices cheaper than $15. Maybe more yes, but not less. Remember you have to return the product tracked. You can return it untracked but then the Chinese seller could just say “I didn’t receive the returned product” even if he did and you lost both the product as bad as it may be and the return shipping cost. So you need to return it tracked so you can actually prove to Aliexpress that the seller received the product back.

So you order a $3 product to pay $15 to send it back and have it replaced? Why should you pay for the seller’s mistake? The seller should either fully refund you or send a replacement for free if its his mistake but no not on Aliexpress and eBay recently started to behave the same. They are now demanding buyers return unwanted products at their own expense. Its not even worth to pay $15 to replace a $3 product, you should rather just keep the unwanted item and order again 4 more times, from different sellers, maybe once will be with luck.

So this is why you need to LIE, just say you did not receive the parcel. Now the funny part is that the Chinese caught up with this and they invented a new scam. They now have FAKE tracking numbers for untracked items. The fake tracking numbers all start with UN12345678CN. UN….CN remember this. When you see this, this is not an actual international tracking number, this is a fake tracking number which works only in China, added just to scare buyers from opening “not received” disputes. So if you are confronted with such a tracking number, safely go ahead and open your “not received” dispute.

Do not abuse the system though, do it only when its fair, because Aliexpress has a ratio on all sellers like “how much % of your total orders are successful and how much % are just failures ending up in disputes” so they will just boot you off the site if you abuse this system too much. Be fair, open case only when you truly didn’t received what you should have and again do not bother telling the truth. Just lie to them that you didn’t receive the product.

Now if you receive a bad product with a real tracking number such as RN…..CN or RR CN or RC CN, these being real international tracking numbers which you can track on 17track.net then you are screwed because Aliexpress will not side with you no matter what. They will just hit you with their stupid request to return the item.

The only way to fight this is to hope to either get a deal with the seller for a replacement product OR the probably the best case scenario is to just aim for a partial refund. For example if you ordered a $20 product which is far from being what you wanted it to be, then open a case and make a fair assessment on how much you want back as a partial refund.

Describe the problem accurately, take pictures and even videos, upload them and demand how much you consider is fair. Do not try to go for a full refund because you won’t get it, you will be asked to return the product which will cost you $15 or more and you basically pay $15 to get $20 back. So what did you accomplish? You only recuperated $5.

Well you could have taken than $5 back without all that hassle of returning the product, as a partial refund. So let’s say you ordered a $20 M blouse but you received it S and it doesn’t fit you, its the sellers fault obviously and you shouldn’t pay 1 cent for that but this is how Aliexpress is so you will have to loose money on this order if the seller sent you the blouse with a tracking number. So open a dispute and aim for a $10 partial refund, which is half its value, upload photos showing that you truly received S instead of M.

As shocking as it is, Aliexpress will side with you and force the seller to refund you $10, but if you ask for $15 which is more than half of its value as a partial refund, chances are Aliexpress will not agree with you and will view you as an extortionist. You will either receive nothing as partial refund or simply forced to return the blouse which will not be worth for you. So this is why I’m telling you, be fair and do not abuse this system and you will get good deals.

Yes you ended loosing $10 for an unwanted S blouse but think about the advantages to that, you got it at half of price and you can either just give it to a friend as a gift and impress the friend, tell her you paid $20 for it, or you can just resell it on ebay or another platform you use, such as Craigslist and you can even sell it for more than $20, such as $25.

Yes its $20 on Aliexpress and anyone could get it from there for $20 but maybe someone wants it NOW, without having to wait a month or two from China, so it will be worth paying that extra $5 to get it from you now.

And this is how you deal with Chinese scammers, you scam them back. I DID NOT RECEIVE THE PRODUCT! I DEMAND A FULL REFUND!

Please wait...
