Trump comes out and declares he’s going to close the border next week. Then next week arrives and he says maybe he’ll do it… next year. In the video Trump also said his ordinary lie again that large sections of the walls are being built. THERE IS NO WALL BEING BUILT.The CBP has recently exposed Trump as a liar, exposing the fact that so far he has built ZERO miles of wall at the southern border. They said that the photos that were shown to the public by Trump are just repairing and replacing EXISTING FENCING from the Bush and Obama era. Trump hasn’t built anything, he’s just lying.
The president said at a meeting on Thursday: “We’re gonna give them a 1 year warning, and if the drugs don’t stop or largely stop, we’re gonna put tariffs on Mexico and particular products and cars, the whole ballgame is cars… and if that doesn’t stop the drugs, we close the border.” after 1 year.
Wow, now that is a massive walk-back. How can anyone can still take Trump seriously at this point?
He comes out with this huge declaration of something that would actually work, shutting down the border would work and then says “oh actually, we’re going to wait a year, and then do some kind of tariff, then maybe we’ll shut down the border.”
And notice he isn’t even talking about immigrants. He’s only talking about drugs!
Which actually makes it even worse. There are at least people who claim that immigrants are a good thing, while there is no one claiming that fentanyl is a good thing. If the issue is drugs pouring in and not immigrants, then how is there even any question about whether or not to close the border? How do you justify another year with 71,073 overdose deaths?
This degree of complete failure is just impossible to comprehend.
Why did he even say he was going to close the border? What is the point of that, if not to make himself look like a liar when he says “maybe next year?”
It’s almost something Ivanka and Jared Kushner would suggest to him, just to make him look more bad than he already does. Yes she’s his daughter but she was always a Democrat and she didn’t change. Now she’s just pretending she’s a conservative Republican when in fact at heart both she and Jared have been and always will be leftist Democrats.
Notice how the above story doesn’t deny the fact that they are leftist liberals, but they are just talking about what levels of power they have in the White House.
What Trump has said here, is worse than not saying anything at all. Now anyone south of the border who considered invading America, will now rush north before a year is up so expect a major flood of immigration soon. What Trump said here is more like a indirect call for more migrants.
Trump is the perfect controlled opposition…He knows just how to play the partly brainwashed conservative base and throws just enough red meat to keep them from waking up.
