USA Passes Bill for "Monitoring and Combating Any Criticism of Israel Internationally"

The Jewish lobby’s firm control over the US Government was again highlighted on January 11 when the U.S. House of Representatives voted 411-1 for a bill to upgrade the position of “anti-Semitism envoy”—a position that has been vacant since Trump took office—to that of “ambassador,” forcing the position to be filled in 90 days. The definition of anti-Semitism the position uses includes criticism of Israel.

The law—the “Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism Act”—states that the Special Envoy shall “have the rank of ambassador,” and “serve as the primary advisor to, and coordinate efforts across, the U.S. government relating to monitoring and combating anti-Semitism and anti-Semitic incitement in foreign countries.”

The bill was sponsored by Rep. Christopher H. Smith [R-NJ-4]—whose largest campaign donor just happens to be NorPAC, another Jewish lobby which describes itself as “a non-partisan political action committee whose primary purpose is to support candidates and sitting members of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives who demonstrate a genuine commitment to the strength, security, and survival of Israel.”

The position of anti-Semitism envoy was created in 2004 over the objections of the State Department, which said it wasn’t needed. It was created at the urging of ht the Israeli Minister for Diaspora Affairs Natan Sharansky, who had formulated a new definition of anti-Semitism that includes criticism of Israel.

Previous envoys before or after serving in the position worked for the Israel lobbying organization AIPAC, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.

The second envoy, Hannah Rosenthal, adopted the Sharansky definition of anti-Semitism for use by the State Department. This is part of an international campaign to insert the new Israel-centric definition in governments and other bodies around the world.

The Times of Israel reports that the impetus for the current bill was “Trump’s failure to pick someone for that opening over the last two years, despite frequent calls from Jewish groups.”

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL), one of whose missions is to advocate for Israel, has been heavily promoting the legislation, which was first introduced last year. The ADL, which includes criticisms of Israel as “anti-Semitic,” has issued reports that there has been a “rise in anti-Semitism.”

As is now well-known, the ADL’s reports of “anti-Semitic” incidents includes jokes, neighbor disputes—and most importantly threats made by Jews in Israel.

Similarly, some reportedly “anti-Semitic” cemetery damage turned out to have been caused by neglect.

This bill is not the only indication of the Jewish lobby’s control of Congress. The very first Senate bill of 2019 is not, as one might expect, a move to get the US Government going again, but rather a four-part bill designated “Strengthening America’s Security in the Middle East Act of 2019,” and is composed of measures on behalf of Israel that Congress tried and failed to pass in 2018.

The first component is the “Ileana Ros-Lehtinen United States-Israel Security Assistance Authorization Act of 2019” which will give Israel $33 billion over the next ten years in addition to the $5.5 billion enacted in last year’s defense spending bill.

It is clear once again that no matter which “party”—Democrat or Republican—controls Congress, the Jewish lobby always makes sure that its puppets are the ones who are elected, through campaign financing, media smear campaigns, or other measures designed to ensure loyalty to Israel and Jews above all else.
