A shocking story came to light last week in Kos, upsetting the local community. A 28-year-old Iranian migrant was arrested for raping a 15 year-old Greek girl, Newsit reports.
A friend of the victim reported the rape to the local police department. After this report the police took a statement of the victim, which revealed to the shocked police officers that the migrant was raping the girl for five days.
She reported that she met the perpetrator on 13 September, when he led the underage girl to a local field and raped her.
The following four days, the Iranian was threatening to kill the victim, and lead her to an abandoned house forcing and blackmailing her to have sexual intercourse.
He was arrested for rape of an underage girl and taken to the prosecutor’s office, where a forensic examination was ordered as part of the investigation.
The local community is upset as citizens watch migrant crime rising, while the Greek state is unable or unwilling to help them.
