Yet another Iraqi pretending to be a refugee—and who was granted “asylum” in the US—has been exposed as an ISIS murderer and is set to be deported back to his home country, the Department of Justice (DOJ) has announced, revealing once again how blatantly the nonwhite invaders lie to get into white countries, and how stupid white liberals are to believe them.
According to a statement on the DOJ website titled “Iraqi National Wanted for Murder in Iraq Arrested in California,” one Omar Ameen, 45, an Iraqi national, has appeared before a federal magistrate judge in Sacramento, California, in connection with proceedings to extradite him to face trial in Iraq where he is wanted on a murder charge.
“Ameen settled in Sacramento as a purported refugee and attempted to gain legal status in the United States,” the DOJ statement says.
The arrest was announced by Assistant Attorney General for National Security John C. Demers, U.S. Attorney McGregor W. Scott for the Eastern District of California, Assistant Director Michael McGarrity of the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division, and Special Agent in Charge Sean Ragan of the FBI’s Sacramento Field Office.
An arrest warrant charging Ameen with the 2014 murder of an Iraqi police officer was issued on May 16, by a judge of the Baghdad Federal Al-Karkh Inquiry Court.
“In accordance with its treaty obligations with Iraq, the United States filed a complaint in Sacramento seeking a warrant for Ameen’s arrest based on the extradition request. U.S. Magistrate Judge Edmund F. Brennan issued the warrant on Tuesday, and Ameen was arrested by the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force in Sacramento,” the statement continued.
The Iraqi arrest warrant and extradition reveals that after the town of Rawah, Iraq fell to the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) on June 21, 2014, Ameen entered the town with a caravan of ISIS vehicles and drove to the house of the victim, who had served as an officer in the Rawah Police Department.
On the evening of June 22, 2014, after the caravan arrived at the victim’s house, Ameen and other members of the convoy opened fire on the victim. Ameen then fired his weapon at the victim while the victim was on the ground, killing him.
“Ameen, originally of Rawah, in the Anbar province of Iraq, fled Iraq following the alleged murder, and later settled in Sacramento as a purported refugee,” the DOJ statement said.
Ameen’s family supported and assisted the installation of al-Qaeda in Iraq (AQI) in Rawah, and that Ameen was a member of AQI and ISIS. He also participated in various activities in support of those terrorist organizations, including helping to plant improvised explosive devices, and concealed his membership in those terrorist groups when he applied for refugee status, and later when he applied for a green card in the United States.
According to Ameen’s “Detention Memo,” he is a “danger to the community,” and his family home “was an ISIS headquarters for Rawah,” and Ameen was an ISIS commander.
In or about April 2012, Ameen arrived in Turkey and began the process of applying for “refugee” status in America. He blatantly lied about his background, and the lies were accepted as fact—an indication of how poor the so-called “screening process” is for such applications.
The Detention Memo reveals just how blatantly Ameen lied—and how easily his incredible lies were believed. On his Resettlement Registration Form before the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Ameen said that in 2010, his father, Abdulsattar Ameen Hussein, was killed due to his cooperation with the American military.
“Ameen repeated this claim under oath on his I-590 Registration for Classification as Refugee before USCIS, stating that his father was ‘shot dead’ because “he accepted to carry portable houses belong[ing] to the Iraqi military.” Ameen repeated the claim once again verbally under oath in an interview conducted in conjunction with his I-485 Application to Adjust Status.”
In reality, Ameen’s father died of natural causes, something that was easily verifiable through his death certificate issued by the Iraqi government.
Ameen also claimed on his refugee application that on March 4, 2012, when he was living in Baghdad with one of his brothers, their home was raided by masked, black-clad men, and the brother was taken away and not heard from again. Ameen claimed the he was able to escape, and attributed the raid and kidnapping to the “Mahdi Army,” a reference to Jaish Al Mahdi (“JAM”). According to Ameen, he feared persecution based on the kidnapping of his brother if he were to remain in Iraq.
“Ameen repeated the claim of feared persecution based on this brother’s disappearance on his adjustment of status application. In actuality, an arrest warrant was issued from the Higher Judicial Court of Investigation in AlKarkh, on December 26, 2010, for the arrest of that brother, Ameen, and two of his other brothers, charging them with terrorism, in violation of Article 4/1 of the Counterterrorism Law of Iraq,” the DOJ said.
Nevertheless, based on “the written and verbal answers given by Ameen, his refugee application was approved by USCIS on June 5, 2014,” the DOJ statement added.
Even though he had been granted “refugee” status by the US government, Ameen then returned to Iraq and carried out the murder which was now the subject of the extradition request.
He arrived in the US on November 4, 2014, and after settling in Sacramento, California, Ameen filed an I-485, Application to Adjust Status in 2016.
