A huge US-supplied weapons cache has been found by Syrian army forces in an al-Qaeda base after the “moderate rebel” held northern town of Da’el in Daraa was taken this week, a victory which allowed more than 30,000 Syrians to return home.

The existence of the weapons cache was announced by Fares Shehabi, Member of the Syrian parliament for Aleppo, and Chairman of the Syrian Federation of Industry, on Twitter.

“We would like to thank the Trump admin for tons of US weapons & ammo delivered to jihadi radicals in #Daraa and just got confiscated by the “Assad regime” forces! The rest of these weapons are still with al-Qaeda terrorists. The Syrian army will get it all,” Shehabi wrote.

In another Twitter post, Shehabi again thanked Trump, who has continued the covert supply of “rebels” to continue under his presidency, this way:

“Thank you Trump, we got most of your weapons you sent to al-Qaeda in #Daraa.” Shehabi wrote, providing a number of photographs of the weapons, which included heavy caliber ammunition and hand held missiles and launchers.

The capture of the town also allowed more than 30,000 Syrian refugees—who left to go and live in the safe parts of that country, rather than fraudulently invading Europe—to return home after the town’s fall marked the Syrian government’s latest successes against the Western-back terrorist forces.

According to a report in the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) news service, “more than 30,000 of Da’el town’s inhabitants, who were forced to flee due to the practices of the terrorist organizations, have returned to the town after the Syrian Arab Army restored security and stability to it.”

The report said that the returnees “expressed their relief to return home after the completion of reconciliation agreement and the restoration of security and stability to the town.”

“The joy and happiness were evident on the faces of the families who headed back to their homes after long years of absence.”

The return of the refugees came as the government was stepping up rehabilitation work, which “encouraged a number of citizens to return.”

The population of the town fell to 20,000 during the time when the West’s terrorist organizations seized control, but with “the return of nearly 30,000 persons the number raised to become about 50,000.”

The Syrian army is also busy rolling up the last of the Western-created terrorist groups in other parts of that country.

Earlier this week the army seized control of al-Nu’aima town on the eastern outskirts of Daraa city, a breakthrough which will certainly lead to the end of all terrorist activity there.

Meanwhile, in the west, the Syrian army has also retaken the vital Naseeb border crossing with Jordan, raising the national flag for the first time in years.

SANA said the capture of the Naseeb border crossing happened Friday afternoon after a deal was reached between rebels and Russian mediators to end the violence in southern Syria.

Western-created terrorists seized control of the crossing in 2015, cutting a major lifeline for Syrian exports and disrupting a major trade route between Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and oil-rich gulf counties.

Syrian government forces launched a wide offensive on June 19 to retake Daraa and the nearby Quneitra region that borders the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.
