Virtually nothing Chumpsky said in this article is true. US has been the world’s biggest oil producer for quite some time and that has nothing to do with Trump. The United States has been divided for quite some time and it has nothing to do with Trump (or 1337 Russian h4xx0lz.) Only Western liberals care about global warming, Africa told the EU to schmeg off, China merely gives the West lip service , but doesn’t actually do anything about it, and I really don’t believe that gov’ts in South America do anything but what they’re forced to do, same with India.

The United States today has far more power and influence over the world than it did in 1945. In 1945, our growing influence wasn’t really taken too seriously until the Cold War got into full swing.

So, the only place America is, “becoming weaker, less effective” is in his mind.
