your talking about a multi billion dollar company who outsources their game support to the mideast.I called for help with MADDEN because the game ripped me off for MADDEN ULTIMATE TEAM PACKS and could you believe their mideast support asked me “what is this mut you speak of” “what is mut?” they WONT pay someone in NORTH AMERICA minimum wage because they cant afford it LOL,it might fold their franchise!

This game not only is too extremely politically correct to the point that alien species like the Krogan have even become politically correct now lol but it’s clearly ractist against white males and white people in general to the point that its too obvious and sickening to loyal fans who have come to love the franchise and have been loyal since it started. How EA can even allow this to happen is beyond me as it so obvious that there is no defending it and having a ractist designer behind game only makes more sense of it all in the end.

There is diversity done right like mass effect 1 through 3 and then there is ME andromeda not the way you want to do diversity in games as people play games to get away from their personal lives and have fun and get or become what they can’t in life that is part of fantasy and ok in video games. I agree, I have bought most Unreal games twice one for playing and one for the archives :)
I was never really into RPGs, Im more of an FPS, RTS and simulation type, I also like arcade racing games.
I would love to see an Unreal 3 game single player only with the Unreal 4 engine and its better be long 15hours or more, Unreal 2 came out in 2003 and I still miss the gameplay of it, one of the best single palyer games ever, albeit many hated it I wasnt one of them, it was near perfect.
If you like European games you should try the Anno series and Ground Control 1 and Ground Control 2, Ground Control 2 is one of my all time favs, best gameplay ever and it still looks good even with todays standards.
Another sleeper is the Nexus:The Jupiter Incident a Hungarian game, very hard but in my opinion the best tactical simulation ever created and also the most beautiful I have yet to see a space sim that looks better and the game came out in 2005.

I’m also a big fan of the Unreal games. They are developed by EPIC games company. Epic games truly are epic! :) My favorite of the series remains Unreal Tournament GOTY. Second comes Unreal Tournament 2014 which is also awesome and while I agree that most modern games lost their gameplay, feeling, atmosphere… everything or just as you said their “soul”, UT2014 still has its soul. I skipped UT3 because back then I didn’t have a powerful enough graphics card. Then I’m also into RPGs. The GOTHIC series and the RISEN series are among my favorites. They are European games made in Germany. European games still tend to have their souls. Its the American ones which lost their souls. TWO WORLDS is also a great European RPG made in Poland. Speaking of Poland, there’s also The Witcher series which I never played but I will in the near future.

Now I’m playing DOOM 2016. While the game is great, the graphics are incredible, there is something missing there, it feels like there’s no soul. I did enjoy DOOM 3 from 2005 though. Much better than the new Doom. I played Quake 3 and Quake 4 a bunch of times but never been a fan of the series even though they are made by the developers of Doom, id Software. I’m more into Unreal Tournament.

Half Life 1 was also kick ass, damn… one of my favorites. I also enjoyed playing HL2 with all its episodes but still HL 1 was better. I don’t know but those old games have a SOUL or something. Most (not all) new games lack that. I think its because of political correctness and too much accent on graphics rather than on story and atmosphere. Epic is working on UNREAL Engine 4. Damn the graphics are… life-like… but will it be a good game? I doubt but who knows?
