Hillary Clinton’s running mate Tim Kaine gave a speech in Dayton, Ohio during which he asserted that the views of David Duke, Alex Jones, Stephen Bannon former Breitbart chairman and the ‘Alt-Right’ in general cannot be tolerated.

Speaking about criticism of Hillary Clinton over her “basket of deplorables” comment, during which she said that half of Donald Trump’s supporters were “racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic,” Kaine doubled down, remarking that Hillary was right to call out “the views that are animating some of his campaign.”

“Hillary spoke in a very blunt way and called those views out. And the views need to be called out. They can’t just be tolerated. They need to be called out,” said Kaine.

Kaine went on to claim that Trump had embraced, “the very fringe of the conspiracy movement, like Alex Jones,” and that such views were being “incorporated into the campaign.”

“In a country that we believe should be characterized by respect, there are some views that can’t just be — you can’t just be silent in the face of them. Silence in the face of views like this has caused huge problems in the past.”

Hillary’s VP was unable to cite any specific “views” that in his utopian vision of a more ‘respectful’ America wouldn’t be “tolerated”.

Kaine also appears to be completely unaware of something called the First Amendment, under which all speech – including unpopular speech and hate speech – is protected by the Constitution.

Here’s Tim Kaine’s greatest performance ever given (clapper):

Kaine’s rhetoric is disturbingly familiar to that contained in a Hillary fundraising email sent out last month which claimed that ‘Alt-Right’ websites like Breitbart had “no right to exist,” suggesting that they could be shut down entirely if Hillary is elected president.

During Hillary Clinton’s infamous ‘Alt-Right’ speech, she also called out views that shouldn’t be tolerated.

One of those “views” included the “conspiracy theory” that she is physically unwell, which after Sunday’s incident is a perfectly legitimate question.
