You quote Obama as saying; “a general consensus in America about what is to be done.”. No, there is strong disagreement about WHAT is to be done,

“gun show loophole.” – I have no problem with that except that the criteria for denial is not clear. Probably will be for any reason the agencies chose from time to time. Needs to provide for judicial appeal. But at an ADDITIONAL cost of $500 M and 200 agents? Come on. Use a COMPUTER.
