That’s exactly right and I totally agree. I bid these big jobs and basically hire “day-labor” to do what I and my partner can’t do because there is so much to do. I hire labor because we can’t afford to keep and hire them because of two reasons. One: they do not know how to read a tape measure but scream for 10-15 dollars/hr ?.. or they don’t know how to add and subtract. Two: they can read a tape and can add and subtract but want the same amount of money you make but they haven’t put any effort towards coming to the job on time or hungover late just a myriad of excuses basically LAZY. FACT is I was raised a job worth doing is a job worth doing well and to the best of your ability… and if you don’t work you don’t eat. Now I could go work for someone else and be unhappy being just another cog in the wheel w/ a college education that no one paid for but myself but I would not and could not get the same satisfaction of starting and completing a job.. Knowing it was done and done well. We are a dying breed but with any hope our children will instill the same ethics in their children and so on. Hopefully we out breed the senseless nonsense leftist ideologies that are being taught today.
