Unfortunately, we need to search – for ourselves – whether the government has emptied a bank account. We are not duely informed of such actions, nor is there seems to be no legal avenues to stop this.
I also did not receive the interest that I would have received had it remained in the bank account.

As such, I have deregistered to vote from this appalling situation that is called the Australian Government.

Note: The _reason_ such laws came in to place are twofold: i) It was listed as a ‘deceased estate’ money recuperation scheme…which was quietly changed. ii) Aussies are very laid back and don’t worry too much about politics… to our detriment, obviously.

:)) It means you must actively monitor and keep your money close. You are closer to Nazi Germany than we are and the Euro is becoming Eurotrash like many of the citizens.
