Don’t you know the gas you use in Europe comes from Russia, and its crucial pipes pass through Ukraine? If Russia cuts that path towards Europa, you will not have gas for anything. Ukraine is poor, yes… but strategically it is post that NATO can’t lose.

I can’t understand why Great Britain would want another economically poor East European country (Ukraine) to join the EU ! If the Ukraine does join the EU then great Britain can expect hordes of impoverished unskilled Ukrainian migrants competing with and taking jobs from Britain’s unskilled !
