Fukushima Fallout??? Fukushima was not a nuclear blast. We got a little (emphasize that little) iodine coming down from the clouds for a short while, but nothing recently. The iodine won’t crate a detectible difference. Indeed, if you wanted to consume a 1% lethal dose of the I-131 in one sitting, you would have died about 100 times over from water toxicity of the rainwater it can down in.
The only other radioactive contamination to each the US will be the waterborne RadCon, and it hasn’t actually reached us thru the water yet. It will be about a million times lower than drinking water standards by the time it gets here.
Fukushima will not cause any noticable effect here in the States except MAYBE (unlikely but maybe) a slight increase in hypertyroidism in newbornes.

The MSM generally only report on catastrophes. And since TEPCO got the situation under control, there is no catastrophe to dwell on. They do on occasion get some credentialed presstitute to try to stir up fear, uncertainty and doubt, but most folks seem to realize it is all hype driven by the anti-nukes and don’t listen. Good on them!

Sorry Steven, you have it backwards. Without the moderator, the fission stops. There has been no observable induced fission in any of the three reactors since they SCAMed because of the earth quake. And the cooling processes were working well until the tsunami took out the emergency diesel power system.

The problem is that without the coolant, the fission product decay heat will heat up the core enough to melt it. It took quite a while for TEPCO to cool the molten core material back down to “Cold Shutoff” conditions.

However, TEPCO workers did try to vent the H2 from reactor 3 thru the vent stack between 3&4. The gas backed up thru an open valve into unit 4 where it exploded. Nice try by TEPCO, no so nice result.

Yeah, its half-life is how long it takes for it to exponentially decay and lose half of its potency.

As numerous open-air atomic tests have proven, cancer rates in America will increase dramatically over the next 10 years from exposure to Fukushima fallout.

A huge number of people are “dead men walking” today without knowing it yet. It takes some time for those microscopic bits of radioactive ash in our lungs and digestive tract to damage enough cell DNA to create tumors. The more radiation exposure, the quicker cancer begins, which is why sailors on the USS Ronald Reagan became ill so quickly.

Some exceptions are Iodine 131 which can vaporize with a half life of about 8 days, and Strontium 90 at 29 years, and Cesium 137 with a half life about equal to your own.

Bromine 82 has a half life of about 35 hours, while Plutonium 244 has a half life of 820,000,000 years, while Uranium 235 has a half life of 70,400,000,000 years.

So after about 1.6 billion years, Pu244 will be mostly gone. U235 takes far longer. We can’t wait that long for TEPCO to clean up their mess.

Reactor 4 was unfueled. No H2 can build up in an unfueled reactor but even then a H2 explosion is NOT powerful enough to obliterate the massive reinforced concrete containment walls.

Its not their fault. Log story short….. A hole was drilled into the sea bed floor. A nuke war head was placed in it, then HAARPed. This is what created the Tsunami. Perfect cover for the warhead waste as it is a nuke power plant. #1. Contractor paperwork for the hole can be found. #2. seismic records show it was not an earthquake. #3. No quake damage to any buildings in the surrounding areas, only damage was from the Tsunami. Follow the money people & beware of the coming Jew World Order!
