We’re battling the water compact, it is not going anywhere. The local Sheriff and County officials of Flathead County have announced they will arrest anyone from any agency that messes with our water rights. The Daily Interlake ran an article this summer about this matter. Remember your dealing with a State that has it’s own gun laws that run contrary to the Feds. We have more retired Special Opps officers than anywhere else in the nation and the majority of the population can shoot the eye out of a elk at 2000 yards. Everyone here is heavily armed and we carry guns like you carry cell phones, it’s fully legal. That’s why we have the lowest crime rates and the highest suicide rates, the criminals kill themselves in frustration…..It would be a blood bath for sure.
Is this story exaggerated? yes, it it partially true? yes it is. Riverton WY is a prime example.
Are we fighting back? yes we are. Are we winning,you betcha! Hawaii and Utah both have taken action and the entire West is rallying to the cry, “LIVE FREE OR DIE!”

The first thing I noticed was that Obama wasn’t our president when the start of this reported action started taking place. The second thing is that Obama will not be president when it supposedly takes place altogether. How could he have been in on the start of this thing when he wasn’t even in power? I guess maybe “it was Bush’s fault” again. As for stealing thousands of American citizens land, I doubt that “we the people” would allow that to happen.

To the brain surgeons who commented without reading the entire article, the Wind River Indian Reservation in Wyoming and Montana are 2 separate issues. The article says that Obama plans to continue this action into Montana.

Unfortunately, we ARE battling this water compact. I have 3 close friends on the Montana legislature, and this compact is the most concerning thing they are dealing with at this time. They are out of session, but still making numerous trips to Helena and sitting in on countless meetings to address this issue. It could potentially be a nightmare for so many of us here.
