When those same particles are inhaled or swallowed, it’s a seriously different story. Public officials obvously prefer to keep the public confused about the vast difference between external and internal radiation exposure.

Evacuation of the West Coast states would crush the tax base and state governments would collapse, so to keep the cash flowing, public health officials will tell us it is safe. They said the same things to rescue workers cleaning up after 9/11, not mentioning the asbestos dust in the air.

Its my view that as with Chernobyl not much is going to be told we the people as they garner statistics quietly over the preceding years and lets say in about 5 years when they feel its safe to say they let us know just how many species are extinct as a consequence and how many of us have suffered premature deaths! But thats just my opinion..

Our public officials do not want to be bothered by concerned citizens with geiger counters. Sea life is dying across the Pacific Ocean and the cause is not “red painted disposalbe eating utensils”.
