Snowden is embarrassing US and foreign leaders who hide spying on each other from their citizens, but he really hasn’t “damaged” the US as much as Obama, Bush and Clinton had done.

Clinton damaged US security in his dealings with China and war on Serbia; Bush ruined our reputation by torturing and murdering arrested suspects and by destroying a country with whom we were not at war.

Obama continues to violate human rights on a daily basis by “Fast & Furious”, the malicious prosecution of Bradley Manning, indicting whistleblowers, and helped destroy Libya and now Syria, as well as America with agreements for foreign troops to be stationed on US soil. Compared with that, Edward Snowden looks more like a hero.
