Let’s deal with the cause, mental illness. There is such a stigma regarding psychological problems in this country. We all need easy access to health care to treat both physical and emotional problems.Perhaps raising the age of gun ownership to 21 with an exception for those in serving in the military with active duty or reserve status. Don’t spend precious tax dollars on witch hunts to disarm the public. This is starting to smell like an Authoritarian state. Don’t try to take our guns. Someday, we just might need them.
