Renowned American academic Noam Chomsky says US President Barack Obama is leading a “global assassination” campaign.
“…President Obama is the major human rights violator. He is directing a global assassination campaign which is a major atrocity,” Chomsky said in an interview with the Voice of Russia.
“If Russia were doing anything like that people would be talking about having a nuclear war,” he added.
Chomsky went on to say that the United States is “strongly supporting, and in fact, participating in terrible human rights abuses”.
He also lambasted the US for its shipment of arms to Saudi Arabia, famous for its dismal human rights record.
“The US is providing huge amounts of armaments to Saudi Arabia which is one of the worst human rights abusers in the world,” Chomsky stated.

If drone assassinations don’t count as an attack on the civilian population, then the Geneva Convention means nothing. There is no free pass for civilian “collateral damage” in the GC. Collective punishment is prohibited. It is illegal to kill 10 innocent people in order to kill 1 terrorist. The GC may be a stupid law for covert wars, but it remains the law.
Chomsky is occasionally right, and he probably is afraid of experiencing an unfortunate accident, the same as every other critic of official criminality.
Is murder really necessary to silence someone’s unpopular ideas? Has any idea really been killed by killing the originator? Did Jihad disappear after Osama bin Laden died?
The American way is to attack bad ideas with more speech and good ideas, not murder. Killing dissidents is un-American but completely British – murdering dissidents is exactly what the Redcoats did to us 250 years ago.
Do we want Globalist “Fedcoats” to win what the British Redcoats could never win – total domination over a colonial empire?
If he’s so smart, why ain’t Noam scar’t of catching lead in his arse?
