Please…if anyone want to know about Islam, or want Qoran, do get it from its only 1 trusted source, Al Azhar University in Cairo – Egypt…. There are a lot of fake books on the web in the name of Qoran that are just not and intended to disperse and repel people from Islam knowldge… killing others!!! No way!!! The only two conditions that Islam permitted killing is when defending yourself. What’s happening around the world by terrorists in the name of Islam is not Islam at all… They are ignorant people who don’t know their religion and follow the false teachings told to them God know’s for who’s interest…. I am greived to read the above as Islam and Qoran… Oh My God…. Muslims all over the world (not terrorists, not jihadist – brain washed) read Qoran as part of their daily life in the 5 prayers, so we know Qoran by heart….Please check for authentic version of the Qoraan and not any available version on the web…..

Islam didn’t say that!!! There is nothing as atrocious in Islam as killing!! From where do you get your Islam knowledge from? Actually when reading this article, I don’t agree at all with what’s happening. Islam clearly stated “You have your own religion, I have my own religion” fullstop. Islam asked muslim to kindly tell people about Islam, but no forcing…just awareness, because Prophit Mohamed is the last of all prophits, that’s why muslims are advised just to tell about Islam…not forcing…not rudly talking… telling about Islam can be by one’s own behaviour and no talk at all… I am really very sad about all wrong info about Islam and bad actions being done on its name.

I am a muslim and I agree with the first part of your comment: these are unarguably anaimals! their conduct and behaviour is not a bit similar to what an enlightened muslim would consider doing. All what these people got from islam is only the name and they are not using it well; in fact they are spoinling it. However, you last part is totally fallacious and i do not even blame you. like all naive Americans, you are just another victim of your own government comntroled mass media whose sole primordial role is to brainwash american citizen by depriving them from thinking. I pitty you americans for not enjoying the burdens of thinking critically about matters presented to you through media. when Big Media says “islam is bad” all people say “islam is bad, islam is bad”… have you ever tried to find out about it? spend some time trying to understand what is islam and who is a muslim. do not just bite stereotypical image the media presents to you. here is the rule: not any beared man is a muslim even if they claim so. Ben Laden is not a muslim, he is a terrorist because he killed innocent people. terreroism is the new religion of the 21 century, so please make sure you find out the lines that separate it from islam… islam is irrespective of your attitude, a religion of Peace, peace of mind, peace of soul peace of body and peace of spirit… get to know it before you judge it!

Parts of what you have been saying is true when it is put in its real context. decontextualizing it has unintentionally, or maybe ideiologically intentionally (I am assuming you are a good person with no premeditated evil intentions), resulted in unforgivale misinterpretations which surely impair not only your understanding but also the reader’s of the reality of killing infidels in islam.
First, the Koranic texts you have cited are only applicable to periods of war between Muslims and other; when both parties declare war on each other and I do believe that non-muslims do worse than mere killing when they are in war with each other, too. they mercilessly show no mercy on their enemies and they become creative and innovtive in ways of torturing their enemies irrespective of their enemies religious, politcal, racial or even ethnic background. so, let’s not blame the Koran for setting rules to organize the art of war. Also, such verses are predominantly applicable to situations where peaceful treaties and agreements are broken by those signing them. in short, for those who have a better undestanding of the Koran, and I reckon most muslims nowadays do not let alone non-muslims, Islam represents a better understanding of war and its moral rules: no killing of women, children, old people and even unarmed young people, no crops, trees or animal belonging to the enemies should be killed, burned or destroyed. Let us agree on the fact that if terrorist attacks nowadays show aything about the reality of islam, they only show they are typically not an act acceptedor aproved by any of the teachings of this religion.
It would be better to read about Islam, its history, its beginings rather than listen to western media or even people who announce themselves muslims where in fact they are far from being so.

The “Koran” does commands Muslims to murder/kill all non-Muslims:

“O Prophet! Make war against the unbelievers [all non-Muslims] and the hypocrites and be merciless against them. Their home is hell, an evil refuge indeed.” (Koran, 9:73)

“When you meet the unbelievers in jihad [holy war], chop off their heads. And when you have brought them low, bind your prisoners rigorously. Then set them free or take ransom from them until the war is ended.” (Koran, 47:4)

“The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and his messenger and strive after corruption in the land will be to be killed or crucified, or to have their hands and feet chopped off on opposite sides, or to be expelled out of the land. Such will be their humiliation in the world, and in the next world they will face an awful horror.” (Koran, 5:33-34)

“When we decide to destroy a population, we send a definite order to them who have the good things in life and yet sin. So that Allah’s word is proven true against them, then we destroy them utterly.” (Koran, 17:16-17)

“In order that Allah may separate the pure from the impure, put all the impure ones [all non-Muslims] one on top of another in a heap and cast them into hell. They will have been the ones to have lost.” (Koran, 8:37)

“How many were the populations we utterly destroyed because of their sins, setting up in their place other peoples.” (Koran, 21:11)

“Remember Allah inspired the angels: I am with you. Give firmness to the believers. I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers: you smite them above their necks and smite all their fingertips off of them.”

Koran does not dictate to kill. If you insist, show me the paragraph. And stop offending others, normal people do not do that. Thanks.
