I am old enough to remember the time when pigs were raised on small farms scattered through out the country. There would be a slaughter house that serviced several communities in its area. But Big Ag killed it all, now I think there is only a few main slaughter houses that ship to the whole country. Combine that with the way animals are being raise today, and it’s no wonder why tainted diseased meat shows up in our food supply.

My PaPa was one of those small farmers ran out of business, he was able to last till the mid 70’s before he could no long compete with the cheap Big Ag pork. I remember going out with him in the evenings to call in the pigs from the pasture, into a large barn where they were feed corn and blackeyed peas and then turned back out onto pasture in the morning.

Shameful, rude, disgusting, inhuman,
We need to stop being and eating ham ,
Farm animal need our care and concern,
This is not acceptable, I love these animals with my heart, this has to stop

:(( .This article and video was enough to almost make me physically sick, I wanted to kick the asses of those people…all of them, give them a taste of what they were doing to these helpless pigs. If animals can’t be raised humanly, then people better quit eating meat…what a sad commentary….
