It means negro, not nigger….

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pippi_Longstocking#Father

A small distinction, true, since as it says blacks take offense at the word negro despite having once made it a point of pride (cf. United Negro College Fund).

Wikipedia again: Schwarzenegger is a German surname that means person from Schwarzenegg, which is both a town in Switzerland and a place in Land Salzburg in Austria. “Schwarzen” means “black,” and “egg” (from the same root as the German word “ecke” for “corner”) refers to a ridge, e.g., Eggli (long ridge), Eggiman (lives on a ridge), and Eggler (farms on a ridge).[1]

Thanks and kudos to Eutimes for its unique daily array of politically incorrect links!…. Let’s all defy PC by refusing to mince the word nigger — it’s perfectly good English.
