Spot on. I’m in the States, and I am completely against the hegemony this government has inflicted on the world. But once the party is over, and it surely will be. No one is going to be spared tyranny. After the fall od the US, there may be a short period of some free market, but eventually some new, possibly worse bully is going to step right in. Business as usual on the global plantation.

If US influence recedes then it’s going to be supplanted by a new and emerging power. No power vacuum is left unfilled and so a new tyranny will emerge. China is already a tyranny so I don’t see them as saviours.
