Article is lacking in first hand reporting, quoting other reports very loosly, etc…….and is packed full of speculation, profiling, and writers feelings. This ”reporter” is NOT a credible source for factual reporting, and hope there aren’t too many of you soaking it up as truth.
Especially with the last part:

To the outrage the American people should have over this catastrophe there is nothing to be seen as those who know the truth won’t tell or report it, and those who know they’re being lied to won’t bother to learn the facts.

Can’t be bothered?… to learn the facts?…the shit you put in your agenda laced article..to stir a certain kinda ‘something’ up …..Reporting other regional locations..thinking that it’s the same difference?

Above comment from Charlotte is correct. I know because I am deeply troubled about the Gulf oil spill…and I know I’m being lied to, so I read shit…

this has happened in gulf shores for the past two yeara. before then noone had seen it…they wonttell us what really happened because there was no drastic rise in heat and it was pretty wavy therefor churning the gulf and oxygenating it…cover-ups…i hate em…need to ask bp whats happening to them, like youd get a straight answer

To be fair, it’s not like anyone would have believed Obama if he’d admitted how bad the spill was. He’s a sitting Democratic President, and Democrats have a reputation for being strongly concerned about environmental issues, a trait the Republican Party holds in great contempt.

The likely response, had he admitted how bad the spill was, probably would have been some variation of “Oh, you are hysterical, and you are lying, and you’re trying to make the oil industry look bad.”

BP explosion: immediately, all big oil peoples bought, over the counter, 4 month PUT options (BP, other oil stocks, and banks), and sold all their own stocks…
Then they had no more any incentive to cap the blow up preventer in less then 4 month, because the more they waited, the more oil and bank stocks dropped, making their PUT options rise, and making them billionaire, at cost of the stupid market makers banks that sold them the PUT option, OTC…
So the blow up preventer was capped 4 month later, exactly on the last trading day of the PUT options!
Without PUT options existence, it had took only some days!

This entire ‘article’ is more fantasy than fact. Check the ‘source’ provided at the end of the article. It’s what someone told someone else and they told the EU Times. I get better sourcing from freshman on academic probation. Check the embedded links in the article. *Nothing* about the Soviet Akula sub checks out from the links provided. It’s not particularly stealthy, let alone “the stealthiest” sub around. There’s no evidence it ever went to the Gulf or, if it did, that the USN had any trouble tracking it. There is simply no evidence provided that any of this happened.
The most likely reasons for the article are to take advantage of mindless anti-American sentiment, advance Russian interests by casting doubt on the value of the BP Gulf assets thereby diminishing the perceived value (cost), and advance the ‘credibility’ of the marginal and poorly researched blog that is the real source that is called “one American report” in the article.
Move along, if there’s any truth to this it isn’t going to be found here.
