We are all proud of our nations but should only fight if our own countries are at threat of invasion. Countries profited out of the wars that not did not take part, or came in later.

Britain was wealthy but WW1 and WW11 went on for years before any help stepped in resulting in that wealth running out. Germany should of crushed us in weeks like it did to every EU nation but we kept them at bay for years and thank god america stepped in. It still took Russia, USA, UK, India, Australia, Canada and all 41 commonwealth countries to defeat Germany. Germany was smashed now look at it, its a power house, it is Rich with no debts and is a lovely country to visit. The UK is going down hill and never recovered from war or inner cities are proof. Who really won the war? My point is even if you are the country who flies the flag over anothers does not mean you have actaully won. There are no winners in a true war. America has never been attacked on home soil by another country in a conventional context. If Newyork, Boston or LA was levelled like LONDON, PARIS and BERLIN, America would be a scarey beast for the entire world and would unleash all its fury without restraint in response. In the modern day big countries fighting mean a lawless, bleak terrifying future where only the rich would be insulated. All the normal people would turn on each other to survive and its always the normal working class people that do the fighting and dying when we would of never of started it. If you look at the world population of 7 billion any world war would solve alot of our problems but chemical and biological agents would be used unlike in the past.
