The fact is that Argentina has been a Fascist country for much of its history and gave support to Nazi Germany and acted as a refugee for Nazi’s after WW2.

Britain had just fought a 5 year war against Fascism and was hardly inclined to hand over the citizens of the Falklands to Argentina. Then in the 70’s and early 80’s Argentina’s military government was killing and disposing of its own people that objected to its military rule. Finally, people have a habit of forgetting that Argentina initiated hostilities against the UK in 82.

The state of it’s military is in pitiful shape. Perhaps even in worse in condition than when it started the 1st Falklands war. I personally do not take sides in this conflict. Argentina, given it’s vast natural and human resources, should be among the world’s wealthiest nations. But that sorry nation is controlled by its fascist unions that leech off the nation and impoverish its masses. As long as this is true, Argentina will be the butt of many jokes in the UK for the far foreseeable future every time they make claims to those islands. I recommend that Argentines take control of their future and throw away that corrupt philosophy of Peronism. They need to fully embrace the free market and have and prepare for a future of high prosperity. The UK did that to an extent under Thatcher and averted its decline into another Argentina. Sometimes your very own foes can teach you a lesson or two.
