For those who don’t quite understand what dead carrier means, imagine trying to talk to a person in a crowd, but there is too much noise to be understood. Taking control is a whole other issue, but as far as breaking the comm link, it doesn’t matter how good your encryption and channel hopping system is. If the plane can’t receive instructions, it would be forced into some sort of default and likely either try and return to base or self destruct. If you can jam it’s GPS that’ll pose other problems for it. My point is that it doesn’t take a genius or super advanced technology to gum up the works of anything remotely controlled. If I can think up and build something like this, then it’s safe to say that governments have a hundred people that are 20 times smarter and far more educated than me. Iran isn’t in this fight alone, btw. They have some major heavyweights in their corner. Either way, they are a sovereign country and it’s no one’s business what goes on inside their country. My heart goes out to all to the families and soldiers on both sides who think they are dying for a good cause. I hope enough people wake up and figure out what’s really going on here before something really terrible happens.
