Captain Marvin Creamer, a retired geography professor, is the only person in history to circumnavigate the globe without the use of any navigational aids other than charts. Much ado about … nothing very new in this article.

Many previous works have obtained similar conclusions… since 1949 !
(See http://www.polarization.com (very good website on light polarization) gives the explanation and a short bibliography on the topic).

As a french scientist, I feel a bit uneasy with the apparent plagiarism conveyed by such a work… Scientific journalists should also be more careful about the news they broadcast…
