Over the last three years, I have seen thee russian UBS 24 and UBS 25’s fly over Yakima, Washington State. Basically, it’s impossible. US nuclear ballistic missile submarines, along with the Brits, are (for all intents and purposes) invisible.

They can get to their launch points any time they want, and nothing can stop them. Once they launch, there is no time to even get a real warning out that the strike is coming, much less defend against it.
