Greece’s situation really saddens me. These people gave us democracy. These people gave us the wisest philosophers in history who promulgated virtue, morals, ethics, and self enhancement/development. Seems to me the Romans ruined it, then the Ottomans, now hopelessness. Being half Greek, it saddens me to no end what has happened, and is happening to the country that carries half of my blood. But … the spirit of the Greek people is a proud spirit. The US, while grandstanding the virtues of democracy, plays both sides between Greece and Turkey.
America, never forget where your democracy came from. Grow a fking spine, and stand up and help your REAL FOUNDING FATHERS.
And may the spirit of a proud people never die.
